Romans Ten Nine Ministries - Matthew Shannon

Matthew is determined to move Heaven or hell to fulfill God’s plan for his life. Being a former military police officer and state trooper, he knows how to deal with people. Law enforcement was the focus of most of his work experience, training and college education. He graduated with degrees in Criminal Justice and Police Science. Interviews and interrogations were a major part of his duties, and – later in life – the Holy Spirit gave Matthew revelation on how to apply the same communication skills toward sharing the Gospel.

In 2008 he answered God’s call to write his first book titled Convincing the Unconvincible©, a handbook for Christians that provides simple yet effective techniques for winning the lost. Mid-way through writing this book, Matthew prayed for insight from the Holy Spirit regarding the next step of God’s plan. Soon thereafter, Matthew received several visions of standing in front of groups of people delivering motivating messages for going after God’s harvest.

Matthew is continuing in God’s plan by accepting invitations to speak at different churches. When he was asked about the type of church he would be most willing to preach at, he said, "Any church that follows Jesus is where I want to go. If God opens the door, then let’s do it."
