Cheryl Ann Armstrong

Cheryl is a Living Example of how Jesus can set ANYONE free "regardless" of their situation.

She experienced a rough childhood and moved away from home at a very young age.  It didn’t take long before everything seemed to spiral out of control with one bad relationship after another; and on a recreational basis, she began to enjoy the "party stage" as a way of coping with life’s disappointments. She continued along this reckless path, until one day she found herself being charged with a drug offense.

It was then, when she finally cried out to God, "I am so sorry, please forgive me for the mess I’ve made of my life. I never had an earthly father. I want you to be my Father. Not my will, but your will be done."

She meant "it," 100%, with ALL of her heart, and at that very moment Cheryl was transformed forever. She experienced an overwhelming peace with everything. She knew things were going to improve. In fact, as soon as the last word of that prayer came from her lips, she could feel the Lord’s touch as He spoke to her heart. He said, "Be an example," which is something she has strived to do ever since.

Soon thereafter, she stood in front of a judge who had the power of giving her a lengthy incarceration. Much to her surprise, the judge issued a court order which sent Cheryl on her way to one of the most recognized and well respected Christian rehabilitation programs in the world – Teen Challenge USA.

Cheryl is one of many people who got their life on track with the help of Teen Challenge. She said, "That program definitely belongs to God. It was there, where He emptied out the worldly things and refilled my spirit with His ways through Jesus. I never knew such a life existed, because I was in spiritual prison with so much bondage surrounded by bars of anger, hatred, and lies. But now!, I am a new creation and set free from the devil’s hold. Who the Son sets free, is free indeed! I am free! And I am also free to speak and share with the hope of helping others."

"My mission is simply put: I want to see the captives Set Free!"

Cheryl Ann Armstrong is a Walking Testimony. She currently attends Bible College in the Cape Cod area of Massachusetts. She has spent numerous hours sharing her testimony while visiting inmates through prison ministry. Cheryl is so thankful for what Jesus did in her life and is now fully focused on Preaching The Gospel and encouraging Christians to share their faith with others.
